The second question

Will this person be good with my child?

Every nanny receives short training in child safety, first aid and professional conduct. You meet with us, see 4 to 5 profiles matched to your family, and choose. Your nanny then starts with a paid 1-week trial, so you can see for yourself.

The third question

What if it doesn't work out?

We offer one free replacement within 60 days. We also check in with you and your nanny every month for the first 3 months, then as needed, so small concerns get dealt with early.

All pictures are AI-generated illustrations, not real nannies, families or clients.

Are you a nanny? You never pay us.

It's free to apply, and free to be placed with a family. Jehosheba is your employer and pays you, and we train you before placement.

You must be 21 or older, have at least 2 years of childcare experience, and be able to read and write English.

Good to know

Who employs the nanny
Jehosheba employs and pays the nanny, and your family pays us a monthly fee.
What it costs
We send a quote once we understand your needs.
If something serious happens
Contact emergency services or the police first, then tell us at once. We respond within 24 hours and suspend the nanny from new placements while we look into it.
What checks can't do
Checks reduce risk, but no agency can guarantee a person's behaviour. That's why you interview and choose your nanny yourself.

Why we're called Jehosheba

Our name comes from the Bible. In 2 Kings 11, Jehosheba hid the baby king Joash and his nurse, and kept him safe. We believe every child deserves that same care. All families and nannies are welcome here.
